svayam-rūpa krishnera kāya-vyūha — tāńra sama
bhakta sahite haya tāńhāra āvarana
SYNONYMS
svayam-rūpa — His own original form (two-handed Krishna); krishnera — of Lord Krishna; kāya-vyūha — personal expansions; tāńra — with Him; sama — equal; bhakta — the devotees; sahite — associated with; haya — are; tāńhāra — His; āvarana — covering.
TRANSLATION
The personal associates of the primeval Lord, Śrī Krishna, are His devotees, who are identical with Him. He is complete with His entourage of devotees.
PURPORT
Śrī Krishna and His various personal expansions are nondifferent in potential power. These expansions are associated with further, secondary expansions, or servitor expansions, who are called devotees.
