sūrya candra bāhirera tamah se vināśe
bahir-vastu ghata-pata-ādi se prakāśe
SYNONYMS
sūrya — the sun; candra — the moon; bāhirera — of the external world; tamah — darkness; se — they; vināśe — destroy; bahih-vastu — external things; ghata — waterpots; pata-ādi — plates, etc.; se — they; prakāśe — reveal.
TRANSLATION
The sun and moon dissipate the darkness of the external world and thus reveal external material objects like pots and plates.
