Bhaktivedanta VedaBase: Śrī Caitanya Caritāmṛta Ādi 17.221
prabhu kahe, — eka dāna māgiye tomāya
sańkīrtana vāda yaiche nahe nadīyāya
prabhu kahe — the Lord said; eka — one; dāna — charity; māgiye — I beg; tomāya — from you; sańkīrtana — chanting of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra; vāda — opposition; yaiche — as it may be; nahe — not be; nadīyāya — in the district of Nadia.
The Lord said, "I wish to beg you for one favor in charity. You must pledge that this sańkīrtana movement will not be checked, at least in the district of Nadia."
