kabhu durgā, lakshmī haya, kabhu vā cic-chakti
khāte vasi' bhakta-gane dilā prema-bhakti
SYNONYMS
kabhu — sometimes; durgā — the part of Goddess Durgā; lakshmī — the goddess of fortune; haya — is; kabhu — sometimes; vā — or; cit-śakti — the spiritual potency; khāte — on a cot; vasi' — sitting; bhakta-gane — unto the devotees; dilā — gave; prema-bhakti — love of Godhead.
TRANSLATION
The Lord sometimes took the part of Goddess Durgā, Lakshmī [the goddess of fortune] or the chief potency, Yogamāyā. Sitting on a cot, He delivered love of Godhead to all the devotees present.
