SYNONYMS
śrī-rūpa — Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī; raghunātha — Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī; pade — at the lotus feet of; yāra — whose; āśa — expectation; caitanya-caritāmrita — the book named Caitanya-caritāmrita; kahe — describes; krishna-dāsa — Śrīla Krishnadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī.
TRANSLATION
Praying at the lotus feet of Śrī Rūpa and Śrī Raghunātha, always desiring their mercy, I, Krishnadāsa, narrate Śrī Caitanya-caritāmrita, following in their footsteps.
Thus end the Bhaktivedanta purports to Śrī Caitanya-caritāmrita, Ādi-līlā, Third Chapter, describing the external reasons for the appearance of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
