kintu krishnera sukha haya gopī-rūpa-gune

tāńra sukhe sukha-vriddhi haye gopī-gane

SYNONYMS

kintu — but; krishnera — of Lord Krishna; sukha — the happiness; haya — is; gopī-rūpa-gunein the qualities and beauty of the gopīs; tāńra — of Him; sukhein the happiness; sukha-vriddhi — increase of happiness; haye — there is; gopī-ganein the gopīs.

TRANSLATION

Krishna, however, derives pleasure from the beauty and good qualities of the gopīs. And when the gopīs see His pleasure, the joy of the gopīs increases.
