mańgalācaraṇaḿ kṛṣṇa-
caitanya-tattva-lakṣaṇam
prayojanaḿ cāvatāre
śloka-ṣaṭkair nirūpitam
SYNONYMS
mańgala-ācaraṇam — invoking auspiciousness; kṛṣṇa-caitanya — of Lord Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tattva-lakṣaṇam — symptoms of the truth; prayojanam — necessity; ca — also; avatāre — in the matter of His incarnation; śloka — verses; ṣaṭkaiḥ — by six; nirūpitam — ascertained.
TRANSLATION
Thus the auspicious invocation, the essential nature of the truth of Lord Caitanya, and the need for His appearance have been set forth in six verses.
