krishnera seshata pana 'sesha' nama dhare

SYNONYMS

eta -- so many; murti-bheda -- different forms; kari' -- taking; krishna-seva kare -- serves Lord Krishna; krishnera -- of Lord Krishna; seshata -- ultimate end; pana -- having reached; sesha nama dhare -- assumes the name Sesha Naga.

TRANSLATION

He is thus called Lord Sesha, for He has attained the ultimate end of servitude to Krishna. He takes many forms for the service of Krishna, and thus He serves the Lord.
