jagat-karana nahe prakriti jada-rupa
sakti sancariya tare krishna kare kripa
SYNONYMS
jagat -- of the material world; karana -- the cause; nahe -- cannot be; prakriti -- the material nature; jada-rupa -- dull, without action; sakti -- energy; sancariya -- infusing; tare -- unto the dull material nature; krishna -- Lord Krishna; kare -- shows; kripa -- mercy.
TRANSLATION
Because prakriti is dull and inert, it cannot actually be the cause of the material world. But Lord Krishna shows His mercy by infusing His energy into the dull, inert material nature.
