ekalā uṭhāñā dite haya pariśrama

keha pāya, keha nā pāya, rahe mane bhrama

SYNONYMS

ekalā — alone; uṭhāñā — picking up; diteto give; hayait becomes; pariśrama — too laborious; keha — someone; pāya — does get; keha — someone; — not; pāya — does get; rahe — remains; manein the mind; bhrama — suspicion.

TRANSLATION

"It would certainly be a very laborious task to pick the fruits and distribute them alone, and still I suspect that some would receive them and others would not.
