yadyapiha prabhu — koṭī-samudra-gambhīra

nānā-bhāva-candrodaye hayena asthira

SYNONYMS

yadyapiha — although; prabhuŚrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; koṭī-samudra-gambhīraas deep as millions of oceans; nānā — various; bhāva — of ecstatic emotions; candrodaye — because of the moonrise; hayena — sometimes becomes; asthira — restless.

TRANSLATION

Although Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu is as deep and grave as millions of oceans, when the moon of His various emotions rises, He becomes restless.
