kṛṣṇa-rasa āsvādaye dui-bandhu-sane

SYNONYMS

dvādaśa vatsara — for twelve years; aiche daśā — such a condition; rātri-dine — day and night; kṛṣṇa-rasa — transcendental bliss and mellows in connection with Kṛṣṇa; āsvādayeHe tastes; dui-bandhu-sane — with two friends, namely Rāmānanda Rāya and Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī.

TRANSLATION

For twelve years, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu remained in that state day and night. With His two friends He tasted the meaning of those verses, which consists of nothing but the transcendental bliss and mellows of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
