yāvat buddhira gati, tateka varṇiluń

samudrera madhye yena eka kaṇa chuńiluń

SYNONYMS

yāvatas far; buddhira gati — the limit of my intelligence; tateka — that far; varṇiluńI have described; samudrera madhyein the midst of the great ocean; yena — just like; eka kaṇa — one particle; chuńiluńI have touched.

TRANSLATION

I have tried to describe them as far as my intelligence allows, as if trying to touch a drop in the midst of a great ocean.
