jyotsnāvatī rātri, daśa dik sunirmala
gańgāra laharī jyotsnāya kare jhala-mala
jyotsnāvatī — full of moonlight; rātri — the night; daśa dik — ten directions; su-nirmala — very clear and bright; gańgāra laharī — the waves of the Ganges; jyotsnāya — in the moonlight; kare jhala-mala — appear dazzling.
The night was full of moonlight, which made the waves of the Ganges look dazzling. All directions were clear and bright.
