"śuni, caitanya-gana kare bahuta bhakshana
'satya' sei vākya, — sākshāt dekhiluń ekhana
SYNONYMS
śuni — I have heard; caitanya-gana — the followers of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; kare bahuta bhakshana — eat more than necessary; satya — true; sei vākya — that statement; sākshāt — directly; dekhiluń — I have seen; ekhana — now.
TRANSLATION
"I have heard," he said, "that the followers of Caitanya Mahāprabhu eat more than necessary. Now I have directly seen that this is true.
