purī-gosāñi kare krishna-nāma-sańkīrtana
'mathurā nā pāinu' bali' karena krandana
SYNONYMS
purī-gosāñi — Mādhavendra Purī; kare — was performing; krishna-nāma-sańkīrtana — the chanting of the holy name of Lord Krishna; mathurā nā pāinu — I did not get shelter at Mathurā; bali' — saying; karena krandana — was crying.
TRANSLATION
Mādhavendra Purī was chanting the holy name of Krishna, and sometimes he would cry, "O my Lord, I did not get shelter at Mathurā."
