animantrana bhikshā kare, nāhika nirnaya

anyera bhikshāra sthitira layena niścaya

SYNONYMS

animantrana — without being invited; bhikshā kare — accepts food; nāhika nirnaya — there is no certainty; anyera — of others; bhikshāra — of acceptance of prasādam; sthitira — of the situation; layena niścaya — takes account.

TRANSLATION

There was no certainty of where Rāmacandra Purī would take his meal, for he would do so even uninvited. Nevertheless, he was very particular about keeping account of how others were taking their meals.
