godāvarī-tīra-vane vṛndāvana-bhrama

rāmānanda rāya saha tāhāñi milana

SYNONYMS

godāvarī-tīra — on the bank of the river Godāvarī; vanein the forest; vṛndāvana-bhrama — mistook as Vṛndāvana; rāmānanda rāyaRāmānanda Rāya; saha — with; tāhāñi — there; milana — meeting.

TRANSLATION

Once the Lord mistook the forest on the bank of the river Godāvarī to be Vṛndāvana. In that place He happened to meet Rāmānanda Rāya.
