śrīvāsa kahena, — kene kaha viparīta
kripā-mūlye cāri bhāi ha-i tomāra krīta
SYNONYMS
śrīvāsa kahena — Śrīvāsa Thākura replied; kene — why; kaha viparīta — do You speak just the opposite; kripā-mūlye — by the price of Your mercy; cāri bhāi — we four brothers; ha-i — become; tomāra — of You; krīta — purchased.
TRANSLATION
Śrīvāsa then replied to the Lord, "Why are You speaking in a contradictory way? Rather, we four brothers have been purchased by Your mercy."
