tara eka phala padi' yadi nashta haya
tathapi vriksha nahi jane nija-apacaya
SYNONYMS
tara -- of the tree; eka phala -- one fruit; padi' -- falling down; yadi -- if; nashta haya -- becomes destroyed; tathapi -- still; vriksha -- the tree; nahi jane -- does not know; nija-apacaya -- its loss.
TRANSLATION
"The udumbara tree is filled with millions of fruits, and if one falls down and is destroyed, the tree does not even consider the loss.
