shathira mata -- the mother of Shathi; nama -- named; bhattacaryera grihini -- the wife of Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya; prabhura -- of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; maha-bhakta -- a great devotee; tenho -- she; snehete -- in affection; janani -- just like a mother.
TRANSLATION
Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya's wife was known as Shathira Mata, the mother of Shathi. She was a great devotee of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and she was affectionate like a mother.
