SYNONYMS
shāthīra mātā — the mother of Shāthī; nāma — named; bhattācāryera grihinī — the wife of Sārvabhauma Bhattācārya; prabhura — of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; mahā-bhakta — a great devotee; teńho — she; snehete — in affection; jananī — just like a mother.
TRANSLATION
Sārvabhauma Bhattācārya's wife was known as Shāthīra Mātā, the mother of Shāthī. She was a great devotee of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and she was affectionate like a mother.
