anna-vyanjanopari dila tulasi-manjari
SYNONYMS
dui pase -- on two sides; su-gandhi -- nicely scented; sitala -- cold; jala-jhari -- pitchers of water; anna-vyanjana-upari -- over the rice and vegetables; dila -- placed; tulasi-manjari -- flowers of tulasi.
TRANSLATION
On two sides of the stack of food were pitchers filled with scented cold water. The flowers of the tulasi tree were placed atop the mound of rice.
