kimva nija-prana yadi kari vimocana

dui yogya nahe, dui sarira brahmana

SYNONYMS

kimva -- or; nija-prana -- my own life; yadi -- if; kari vimocana -- I give up; dui -- both such actions; yogya nahe -- are not befitting; dui sarira -- both the bodies; brahmana -- brahmanas.

TRANSLATION

Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya continued, "Or, if I give up my own life, this sinful action may be atoned. However, neither of these ideas is befitting because both bodies belong to brahmanas.
