gāla phulila, ācārya antare ullāsa

vistāri' varṇiyāchena vṛndāvana-dāsa

SYNONYMS

gāla — the cheeks; phulila — became swollen; ācāryaPuṇḍarīka Vidyānidhi; antare — within the heart; ullāsa — very happy; vistāri' — elaborating; varṇiyāchena — has narrated; vṛndāvana-dāsaŚrīla Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura.

TRANSLATION

Although his cheeks were swollen from the slapping, Puṇḍarīka Vidyānidhi was very happy within. This incident has been elaborately described by Ṭhākura Vṛndāvana dāsa.
