yadyapi vrindavana-tyage nahi prabhura mana
bhakta-iccha purite kahe madhura vacana
SYNONYMS
yadyapi -- although; vrindavana-tyage -- to leave Vrindavana; nahi prabhura mana -- was not the desire of the Lord; bhakta -- of the devotee; iccha -- desire; purite -- to fulfill; kahe -- says; madhura vacana -- sweet words.
TRANSLATION
Although Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu had no desire to leave Vrindavana, He began to speak sweet words just to fulfill the desire of His devotee.
