acetana hana prabhu bhumite padila
mukhe phena pade, nasaya svasa ruddha haila
SYNONYMS
acetana -- unconscious; hana -- becoming; prabhu -- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; bhumite padila -- fell on the ground; mukhe -- at the mouth; phena pade -- there was foam; nasaya -- in the nostrils; svasa -- breath; ruddha haila -- stopped.
TRANSLATION
Filled with ecstatic love, the Lord fell to the ground unconscious. He foamed about the mouth, and His breathing stopped.
