SYNONYMS

govinda-kuṇḍa-ādiGovinda-kuṇḍa and others; tīrthein the holy places; prabhuŚrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; kailā snāna — performed bathing; tāhāń — there; śunilā — heard; gopāla — the Gopāla Deity; gela — has gone; gāńṭhuliGāńṭhuli; grāmato the village.

TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu then took His bath in a lake called Govinda-kuṇḍa, and while He was there, He heard that the Gopāla Deity had already gone to Gāńṭhuli-grāma.
