tomaya cakhaite tara kahi eka 'bindu'

SYNONYMS

para-apara -- the length and breadth; sunya -- without; gabhira -- deep; bhakti-rasa -- of the mellows in devotional service; sindhu -- the ocean; tomaya -- to you; cakhaite -- to give a taste; tara -- of this ocean; kahi -- I shall speak; eka -- one; bindu -- drop.

TRANSLATION

"The ocean of the transcendental mellows of devotional service is so big that no one can estimate its length and breadth. However, just to help you taste it, I am describing but one drop.
