vasudeva-devakīra kṛṣṇa caraṇa vandila

aiśvarya-jñāne duńhāra mane bhaya haila

SYNONYMS

vasudeva-devakīra — of Vasudeva and Devakī; kṛṣṇa — Lord Kṛṣṇa; caraṇato the lotus feet; vandila — offered prayers; aiśvarya-jñāne — because of knowledge of the opulence; duńhāra — of both of them; manein the minds; bhaya haila — there was fear.

TRANSLATION

"When Kṛṣṇa offered prayers at the lotus feet of His mother and father, Vasudeva and Devakī, they both felt awe, reverence and fear due to knowledge of His opulences.
