tathā eka bhaumika haya, tāra thāñi gelā
'parvata pāra kara āmā' — vinati karilā
SYNONYMS
tathā — there; eka bhaumika — one landowner; haya — there is; tāra thāñi — unto him; gelā — he went; parvata — the hilly tract; pāra kara — cross over; āmā — me; vinati — submission; karilā — he made.
TRANSLATION
After reaching Pātadā, he met a landholder and submissively requested him to get him across that hilly tract of land.
