SYNONYMS
astra-dhriti — of holding the weapons; bheda — difference; nāma-bhedera — of differences of names; kārana — the cause; cakra-ādi — of weapons, beginning with the disc; dhārana — of holding; bheda — differences; śuna — please hear; sanātana — O Sanātana.
TRANSLATION
"My dear Sanātana, just hear from Me as I tell you how the different vishnu-mūrtis hold Their weapons, beginning with the disc, and how They are named differently according to the placement of the weapons in Their hands.
