SYNONYMS
hiranyagarbha — named Hiranyagarbha; antaryāmī — the Supersoul; garbha-udaka-śāyī — Lord Garbhodakaśāyī Vishnu; sahasra-śīrshā-ādi kari' — by the Vedic hymns beginning with sahasra-śīrshā (Rig Veda-samhitā 10.90.1); vede yāńre gāi — unto whom the Vedas pray.
TRANSLATION
"Garbhodakaśāyī Vishnu, known within the universe as Hiranyagarbha and the antaryāmī, or Supersoul, is glorified in the Vedic hymns, beginning with the hymn that starts with the word 'sahasra-śīrshā.'
