'pīta'-varna dhari' tabe kailā pravartana
prema-bhakti dilā loke lańā bhakta-gana
SYNONYMS
pīta-varna dhari' — assuming the color yellow; tabe — thereafter; kailā pravartana — introduced the sańkīrtana movement; prema-bhakti dilā — He distributed love of Krishna; loke — to the people in general; lańā bhakta-gana — accompanied by His devotees.
TRANSLATION
"In the Age of Kali, Lord Krishna assumes a golden color and, accompanied by His personal devotees, introduces hari-nāma-sańkīrtana, the chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra. By this process He delivers love for Krishna to the general populace.
