SYNONYMS
sat-sańga — association with devotees; krishna-sevā — engagement in the service of Krishna; bhāgavata — devotees and the book known as Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam; nāma — the chanting of the holy name; vraje vāsa — residence in Vrindāvana or Mathurā; ei — these; pańca — five; sādhana pradhāna — the chief processes of devotion.
TRANSLATION
"To be elevated to the platform of devotional service, the following five items should be observed: association with devotees, engagement in the service of Lord Krishna, the reading of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, the chanting of the holy names and residence at Vrindāvana or Mathurā.
