sarva-bhūteṣu yaḥ paśyed

bhagavad-bhāvam ātmanaḥ

bhūtāni bhagavaty ātmany

eṣa bhāgavatottamaḥ

SYNONYMS

sarva-bhūteṣuin all objects (in matter, spirit, or combinations of matter and spirit); yaḥ — anyone who; paśyet — sees; bhagavat-bhāvam — the capacity to be engaged in the service of the Lord; ātmanaḥ — of the Supreme Spirit Soul, or the transcendence beyond the material conception of life; bhūtāni — all beings; bhagavatiin the Supreme Personality of Godhead; ātmani — the basic principle of all existence; eṣaḥ — this; bhāgavata-uttamaḥa person advanced in devotional service.

TRANSLATION

"'A person advanced in devotional service sees within everything the soul of souls, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Consequently he always sees the form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead as the cause of all causes and understands that all things are situated in Him.
