nija-kṛta sūtrera nija-'bhāṣya'-svarūpa

SYNONYMS

ataeva — therefore; bhāgavataŚrīmad-Bhāgavatam; sūtrera — of the Brahma-sūtra; artha — of the meaning; rūpa — the form; nija-kṛtamade by himself; sūtrera — of the Vedānta-sūtra; nija-bhāṣya — of his own commentary; svarūpa — the original form.

TRANSLATION

"Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam gives the actual meaning of the Vedānta-sūtra. The author of the Vedānta-sūtra is Vyāsadeva, and he himself has explained those aphorisms in the form of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
