śuni' bhakta-gaṇa tāńre karila stavana
veda-ājñā yaiche, mātā, tomāra vacana
SYNONYMS
śuni' — hearing this; bhakta-gaṇa — all the devotees; tāńre — to her; karila — did; stavana — praying; veda-ājñā — an injunction of the Vedas; yaiche — like; mātā — my dear mother; tomāra vacana — your word.
TRANSLATION
After hearing Śacīmātā, all the devotees offered her prayers and assured her that her order, like a Vedic injunction, could not be violated.
