āpane bahuta anna ānila māgiyā

SYNONYMS

bhikṣā lāgi' — for prasādam; eka-dinain one day; eka grāmato one village; giyā — going; āpane — personally; bahutaa great quantity; anna — of rice and other eatables; ānila — brought; māgiyā — begging.

TRANSLATION

Each day Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu personally went to a village and collected a great quantity of rice and other grains for the preparation of prasādam.
