kunja dekhana kahe, -- ami ei kunje ra-i

sita-vrishti-vatagnite maha-duhkha pai

SYNONYMS

kunja dekhana -- while showing him the bush; kahe -- He says; ami -- I; ei -- this; kunje -- in the bush; ra-i -- reside; sita-vrishti -- in chilly cold and in showering rain; vata -- in severe wind; agnite -- and in scorching heat; maha-duhkha pai -- I am experiencing great pain.

TRANSLATION

The boy showed Madhavendra Puri the bush and said, "I reside in this bush, and because of this I suffer very much from severe cold, rain showers, winds and scorching heat.
