kṛṣṇa kahe, — "pratimā cale, kothāha nā śuni"

vipra bale, — "pratimā hañā kaha kene vāṇī

SYNONYMS

kṛṣṇa kahe — Lord Kṛṣṇa says; pratimā calea Deity walks; kothāha — anywhere; śuniI have not heard; vipra bale — the young brāhmaṇa replies; pratimā hañāin Your Deity form; kaha kene vāṇī — how do You speak words.

TRANSLATION

Lord Kṛṣṇa said, "I've never heard of a Deity's walking from one place to another."

The brāhmaṇa replied, "That is true, but how is it that You are speaking to me, although You are a Deity?
