sūkṣma tulā āni' nāsā-agrete dharila

īṣat calaye tulā dekhi' dhairya haila

SYNONYMS

sūkṣma — fine; tulā — cotton; āni' — bringing; nāsā — of the nostril; agretein front; dharila — held; īṣat — slightly; calaye — moves; tulā — the cotton; dekhi' — seeing; dhairya — patience; haila — there was.

TRANSLATION

The Bhaṭṭācārya then took a fine cotton swab and put it before the Lord's nostrils. When he saw the cotton move very slightly, he became hopeful.
