ańga haite yei kīdā khasiyā padaya
uthāñā sei kīdā rākhe sei thāña
SYNONYMS
ańga haite — from his body; yei — which; kīdā — a worm; khasiyā — drops; padaya — falling off; uthāñā — picking up; sei — that; kīdā — worm; rākhe — places; sei thāña — in the same place.
TRANSLATION
Although suffering from leprosy, the brāhmana Vāsudeva was enlightened. As soon as one worm fell from his body, he would pick it up and place it back again in the same location.
