prabhura gamana kūrma-mukhete śunińā
bhūmite padilā duhkhe mūrcchita hańā
SYNONYMS
prabhura — of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; gamana — the going; kūrma-mukhete — from the mouth of the brāhmana Kūrma; śunińā — hearing; bhūmite — on the ground; padilā — fell down; duhkhe — in great distress; mūrcchita — unconsciousness; hańā — becoming.
TRANSLATION
When the leper Vāsudeva came to Kūrma's house to see Caitanya Mahāprabhu, he was informed that the Lord had already left. The leper then fell to the ground unconscious.
