ājñā-mālā pāñā harṣe namaskāra kari'

ānande dakṣiṇa-deśe cale gaurahari

SYNONYMS

ājñā-mālā — the garland of permission; pāñā — getting; harṣein great jubilation; namaskāra — obeisances; kari' — offering; ānande — with great pleasure; dakṣiṇa-deśeto South India; cale — goes; gaurahari — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.

TRANSLATION

Thus receiving Lord Jagannātha's permission in the form of a garland, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu offered obeisances, and then in great jubilation He prepared to depart for South India.
