atikāla haila, loka chādiyā yāya

tabe nityānanda-gosāñi srijilā upāya

SYNONYMS

atikāla — very late; hailait was; loka — the people in general; chādiyā — giving up; yāyado not go; tabe — at that time; nityānandaŚrīla Nityānanda Prabhu; gosāñi — the spiritual master; srijilā — invented; upāyaa means.

TRANSLATION

Seeing that it was already getting late, Lord Nityānanda Prabhu, the spiritual master, invented a means to disperse the crowd.
