hena-kale vaidika eka vaishnava brahmana
dandavat kari' kaila prabhure nimantrana
SYNONYMS
hena-kale -- at this time; vaidika -- a follower of the Vedic ritualistic ceremonies; eka -- one; vaishnava brahmana -- a brahmana following Vaishnava principles; dandavat -- obeisances offered by falling flat; kari' -- offering; kaila -- made; prabhure -- unto Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; nimantrana -- invitation.
TRANSLATION
At this time a brahmana Vaishnava following the Vedic principles came and offered obeisances. He fell flat before Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and invited Him for lunch.
