kānta-vakshah-sthitā, pativratā-śiromani

SYNONYMS

prabhu kahe — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said; bhatta — My dear Bhattācārya; tomāra — your; lakshmī-thākurānī — goddess of fortune; kānta — of her husband, Nārāyana; vakshah-sthitā — situated on the chest; pati-vratā — chaste woman; śiromani — the topmost.

TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu told the Bhattācārya, "Your worshipable goddess of fortune, Lakshmī, always remains on the chest of Nārāyana, and she is certainly the most chaste woman in the creation.
