gopikāra mana harite nāre 'nārāyana'
SYNONYMS
svayam bhagavān — the Supreme Personality of Godhead; krishna — is Lord Krishna; hare — attracts; lakshmīra — of the goddess of fortune; mana — the mind; gopikāra — of the gopīs; mana — the minds; harite — to attract; nāre — is not able; nārāyana — Lord Nārāyana.
TRANSLATION
"The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna, attracts the mind of the goddess of fortune, but Lord Nārāyana cannot attract the minds of the gopīs. This proves the superexcellence of Krishna.
