kritamālāya snāna kari' āilā tāńra ghare
bhikshā ki dibena vipra, — pāka nāhi kare
SYNONYMS
kritamālāya — in the Kritamālā River; snāna kari' — bathing; āilā — came; tāńra — of the brāhmana; ghare — to the home; bhikshā — offering of alms; ki dibena — what shall give; vipra — the brāhmana; pāka — cooking; nāhi kare — did not do.
TRANSLATION
After bathing in the river Kritamālā, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu went to the brāhmana's house to take lunch, but He saw that the food was unprepared because the brāhmana had not cooked it.
